About Us

When we decided to sell some of our collectibles a few years ago, we debated between holding a yard sale or trying out eBay. We decided to try eBay. After all - how hard could it be? Take a few pictures, fill out a form, and let eBay do all the rest. Right?? Wrong!! We found out it just isn't that easy. There was lots of information on Internet Marketing for Retailers. But what about selling one-of-a-kind items like collectibles? There just wasn't much out there. So through trial and error, we learned a little about selling collectibles online.

This website is dedicated to sharing our experiences with other collectors who may want to buy or sell some items or who would like to start a part time online business. We are starting with a 6 Step Guide for Collectors to Selling Online. As we move forward, our goal is to establish a site where collectors can find ideas, support and answers to their questions about doing business in the digital world. Here are a few of the things that we have sold over the past few years. Click on any picture to see items from that category.

Meet Goldie

GolidesShopsLogo

Goldie is our Avatar. She is an ArtMark Doll that we found at a sale for 25 cents and sold for $25 on eBay. That's about when we realized how fun and rewarding selling collectibles on the internet could be. That must have been when we got hooked!!!

Goldie is our Hostess on Bonanza, eBay, ArtFire, eBid and Addoway where we currently have active listings. Check out Goldie's Gallery to see what we have for sale. She also appears on FaceBook, Twitter and you can click here to check out blog at Goldie's Shops BLog. We hope that where ever you see her, you will know that she represents quality and integrity.
